Marketing Intern General description
As a Marketing Intern, you will work with members of professional staff to develop and implement marketing strategies. You will be working in several areas of the company to gain a greater understanding of how the company operates. You will be asked to help coordinate and work events, as well as work closely with potential clientele (including forming and maintaining relationships).

- Research online trends for social media platforms.
- Manage all social media accounts, including creating graphics to publish.
- Take photos of diving events/training sessions.
- Assist in coordinating/planning events.
- Serve as a liaison for outside organizations.
- Prepare and deliver pitches to outside organizations that are interested in pairing with ASC.
- Assist with sales calls.
- Sit in on meetings/errands that we feel would be beneficial to your professional development.

- Some background in online content creation preferred
- Seeking a degree in Marketing, Tourism, Management, Communications, Event Planning, or other similar/relevant degree preferred

Achievements
Throughout my time with ASC, I learned a lot of new skills. These were my biggest educational highlights:
- Learning how to use underwater photography equipment for marketing purposes
- Learning the ins and outs of adaptive diving (diving for people with disabilities)
- Learning how to make a sales pitch on the spot and form professional relationships
- Getting to see first-hand the steps a company has to go through when changing their business focus and mission (that is still in the process)
